Come Together with “Tribes In Mind” by Marius Billgobenson
Swedish musician Marius Billgobenson has just released his uplifting track “Tribes in Mind” which is a gorgeous blend of jazz with fusion elements. Billgobenson shares “‘Tribes In Mind’ attempts to apply the seductive polyphonic singing from Forest People sometimes referred to as the ‘Pygmies’ into Jazz progression.” Not only does “Tribes In Mind” succeed beautifully with this endeavor it is done masterfully. Every single element of this track, the backing vocalists, the instrumentation, the varying melodies all compliment one another perfectly. The theme of the song revolves around a sense of home and coming together which is flawlessly conveyed with all of this track’s cohesive moving parts. We cannot wait for Marius’ next release if it’s anything like this one!
