Soundscape Master Star Goes Nova Shares Her Newest Space Epic “Plutonium

Star Goes Nova is a master soundscape musician who creates epic stories that combines real instruments with electronica, transcending past and future, primarily told through her 115 year old piano, power drums and deep bass music. Often times, you’ll also hear Falcon 9 rocket or Hubble galaxy sonifications in her music.

The Los Angeles artist just released her newest song “Plutonium.” With a clear influence of Glitch Mob, Illenium, and Swedish House Mafia, the downtempo and grime song was inspired by the desolate desert photography of Attasalina, “Plutonium” depicts a planet’s long past and future apocalypse.

As per Star Goes Nova’s usual, she guides you through this landscape and it’s past using sonifcations beyond that of your average artist. You can almost feel the emotions the environment carries and the textures in it’s deserts. She tells you what happened here and how it’s adapting.

“I’ve always thought of myself as an intrinsic soul, finding meaning in space and time and thought., shares Star Goes Nova.

Also known as bassist Christine Law, she’s toured and recorded with the famous and the obscure. Her first radio airplay was with hardcore band Tantrum, later charting on college radio with Charles Law & Jagged. She often collaborates with Grammy winner John Baffa and platinum selling songwriters Suzanne Paris and David Holster. You’ll hear fantastic collaborations with different artists on Star Goes Nova pieces.
